Course Objectives

This course will teach students the principles, required skills and behaviors to become an effective environmental internal auditor based on ISO 14001. Students will learn how to evaluate and improve and organization’s environmental management system by adopting the right best practices to prepare an audit, collect meaningful information, conduct the audit and prepare accurate reports, while adapting their interview and communication skills to achieve their objectives.

Students will get access to electronic materials online for reference during and after the course. Although ERM CVS will make an effort to have standards available to the students for reference during the course, due to copyright, it is expected that students bring their own standards to the course. Students are required to have webcam and microphone available and on during the course.
