Course Objectives

Throughout the course, participants will gain a thorough understanding of various RCA tools, techniques, and best practices, including the three legged 5 whys, brainstorming, affinity diagrams, flow charts, fishbone diagram (Ishikawa), cause and effect analysis, process mapping, value added assessment, fault tree analysis, and Pareto Analysis. These methods will be applied to real-world scenarios, providing a hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

Materials

Students will get access to electronic materials online for reference during and after the course. Although ERM CVS will make an effort to have standards available to the students for reference during the course, due to copyright, it is expected that students bring their own standards to the course. Students are required to have webcam and microphone available and on during the course.
