The EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) is transforming the way greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions are monitored, reported and verified (MRV) for goods imported into the European Union. As regulatory requirements continue to evolve, competent GHG MRV professionals play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and credibility of emissions data submitted under the CBAM framework.
This one and a half-day course equips GHG MRV professionals with the knowledge and practical skills required for a variety of roles linked to CBAM MRV. Participants will gain an understanding of CBAM requirements, emissions quantification methodologies, monitoring principles, risk assessment techniques, and reporting obligations necessary to ensure effective CBAM MRV.
